Rookin House is an established adventure venue in the Lake District, Cumbria and has been offering a wide variety of outdoor activities and Events for nearly 40 years. Family owned and operated, Rookin House has a strong focus on fun and safety and truly spectacular memory creation. Rookin House has the magnificent Blencathra mountain range as a stunning backdrop. It is just 4 miles from Ullswater, 8 miles from both Keswick and Penrith along the A66 and easily accessible from M6 at Junction 40.

The Rookery is a Blank Canvas giving you opportunity to let your creative side show and make the day entirely your own enabling you to turn it into your dream wedding venue,

For up to 100 people
Seating
10 Round Tables
Glassware
Wooden Dance Floor
Sound System
Licensed Bar
Access to the venue the Day before and the Day after.

This is £4000 for week day weddings and £4500 for Weekend dates. You have access to the venue for 4 days so that you have 2 days before (to set up the venue how you want it) the wedding day and the next day.

For more than 100 people you can hire extra tables and chairs, our venue can cater for up to 180 people.

We have on site accommodation for up to 60 guests which can be booked midweek.
Discount not available on Friday and Saturday nights.
2 night stays will receive a 20% discount
1 night stays will receive a 10% discount
