Pony Parties
With younger children we encourage parents to get involved. Parents or guardians may be required to lead the pony. Overall supervision/instruction provided by BHS trained staff. Parties can be put together according to your requirements – please contact us for details.
Examples;
1 hour session including grooming, tacking up, a short ride and a certificate would be £150 for 6 children
2 hour session includes a hands on experience including grooming and tacking up and learning about the care of a pony. Riding in the horse arena with instruction and pony games. Rosettes for everyone. £250 for 6 children.
Farm ride – 1hr session includes 30 minutes riding £110.00 for 4 people, 2 adults 2 children – we provide 4 horses/ponies and 2 members of staff. POA for a different amount of people.

Adult Option
Minimum group size of 8 – £80.00 each (session length approx 3 hours)
Starting with an introduction to the horses and your coach(s) who will issue equipment and answer any question you are sure to have. A demo for tacking up will be given; you will groom and tack up your own horse (with assistance!) riders will learn the basics before heading out for at least an hour through the Lakeland countryside. On return you will untack and groom your horses. This hands on experience with the horses is very rewarding and you’re guaranteed to have fun with our fantastic selection of kind horses to suit all riders. Then it’s time to take part in our Equestrian themed games! All riders will receive a rosette in the colours and wording of your choice as a little piece of memorabilia of your day!
After a busy afternoon on the yard you can finish the day off in luxury in The Loft bar with Champagne, Strawberries and Selfies.
*This package could be made a full day, depending on ability and fitness of participants. Lunch can be included in this package which would be ready on your return from your ride. To tailor this package and to check availability and pricing please contact the office.
