Luxury Camping Barn and Camping Pods
Self Catering (sleeps up to 24 people)
The best kind of tent for the sunny Lake District, this centrally heated camping barn is roomy, dry and comfortable. It has: 2 showers, 2 toilets, a dining-living room area and a fully equipped kitchen ideal for group accommodation. There are Four Sleeping Pods. Two are xl mega pods with 2 double beds & 2 singles sleep up to 6 adults each. Two additional Pods sleep up to 5 adults each and futons are provided. Please bring pillows, bedding/sleeping bags and towels as they are not provided and therefore must be brought by yourselves. For a group size over 22 there are no other bedrooms so the living area doubles up as a sleeping area. For any extras (over 22 people) you must bring a portable camp bed/mattress and bedding.

As the farm is surrounded by some of the best walking country in the Lake District, this accommodation is popular with walkers throughout the year and also makes a great base for those wanting to take part in our activities. Close by are some of the greatest walks in the country from the strenuous hikes of Blencathra to the gentle meanders along Aira Force.
Prices
£625.00 – 2 night stay for up to 12 people.
For Fridays and Saturdays a minimum 2-night stay applies.
£300.00 – For the 3rd and subsequent nights for up to 12 people.
For 1 night stays mid-week, please ask for a quote.
​During the months of March to October we only hire the accommodation out at weekends to groups who are doing activities with Rookin House Activity Centre – Minimum spend £600 between the whole group. Mid-week bookings are available to groups who may or may not want activities.
For groups exceeding 12 guests a supplement rate of £17.50 per person per night applies.
Arrival is from 4pm and departure is by 10.30am.
Our Accommodation does not have the facility for charging Electric Vehicles. Any one found to be doing so will be asked to leave the premises. There are dedicated charge points in the near by town of Penrith. (9 miles away)
