This beautifully converted 16th century barn, designed for comfort using quality furnishings retains lots of its character with exposed beams & a traditional fire place whilst enjoying under floor heating, laminate flooring and a modern kitchen with a range cooker. The lounge has a flat screen TV. There is a large parking area outside the property. The Loft Bar is on site and open Friday and Saturday nights. Live music is on most Friday evenings. Perfect for family gatherings, corporate groups and stag & hen parties.​
4 rooms sleep two people each, two rooms sleep 4 people and there is a single. There is also a pull out bed for the 18th person. All single beds.

Christmas and New Year are both a minimum 7 night charge.

Arrival is from 4pm and departure is by 10.30am.
During the months of March to October we only hire the accommodation out at weekends to groups who are doing activities with Rookin House Activity Centre – Minimum spend £600 between the whole group. Mid week bookings are available to groups who may or may not want activities.
The price includes heating, gas, electricity, pillows and duvets. Linen can be hired for £6.00 per person or you may prefer to bring your own. If linen is required please advise at time of booking. Duvets & pillows are provided free of charge if you would prefer to bring your own sheets.
Our Accommodation does not have the facility for charging Electric Vehicles. Any one found to be doing so will be asked to leave the premises. There are dedicated charge points in the near by town of Penrith. (9 miles away)
